Conflict-of-interest disclosure
You will trust us with your investors' data. You should know who else we are connected to, and what we have signed to protect you.
The relationship
25 Carat Ventures is the proprietorship of Adarsh Sharma. Adarsh is also associated with 25 Carat Wealth, an operating mutual fund distribution practice registered with AMFI. 25 Carat Wealth's registration is held in another person's name, not in the name of 25 Carat Ventures.
Because 25 Carat Wealth distributes mutual funds, it could in principle compete with the firms that use our platform. This is the conflict we are disclosing.
How the two businesses are kept apart
- Separate systems. Client firms' data is held in their own isolated workspaces or their own accounts. It is never stored in, copied to or linked with 25 Carat Wealth's systems.
- Separate identity. 25 Carat Ventures does not use 25 Carat Wealth's registration, code or domain to promote, sign or invoice its services.
- No use of your data. Your data, client lists and leads are never used for 25 Carat Wealth or any other distribution business.
- Non-solicitation. We will not contact or solicit your investors, directly or through any related business.
- Access log. Every access we make to your data is recorded, and the log is yours to review.
- No demos on real data. Walkthroughs use invented sample data only.
In writing
These commitments are part of the signed agreement with every client firm: in the Master Service Agreement, the Data Processing Agreement and clause C.10 of the Client Charter. If we breach them, you have a contractual remedy.
